Cliffs
A cliff is a mass of rock
that rises very high almost vertical. Cliffs can form near the ocean (Sea
cliffs), High Mountains or as walls of canyons and valleys. Waterfalls
tumble over cliffs.
Climate
Cliffs are very common landscape features, so they don't have any set climate.
Flora & Fauna
Large rocks and things fall off the cliff as the cliff erodes, creating habitat for plants and animals at the bottom of the cliff and where the bits have fallen off.
Where the rocks and bits have fallen off creates cracks and protect areas for plants and animals to nest and live, and may be hard for other animals/ predators to find them.
The plants that would live on a cliff are plants that can handle harsh conditions because the weather is harsh and there is not much dirt.

Formation
1.Weather weakens the top of the cliff.
2.The sea attacks the
base of the cliff forming a wave-cut notch.
3.The notch increases in size
causing the cliff to collapse.
4.The backwash carries the rubble towards the
sea forming a wave-cut
platform.
5.The process repeats and the
cliff continues to retreat.
